Many Health systems in MD are facing increasing pressures related to their physician enterprise investments.  Losses from most of the health system-operated physician enterprises are increasing in part based on the need to maintain services provided by hospital-based physicians.  The panel discussed lessons learned from their physician enterprise and the steps they have taken and are contemplating to better position their physician enterprises strategically and financially.
